The main problem isn't getting equipment covered on home insurance it is
claiming when something goes wrong and the exclusions kick in.

Yeah I have been looking into that option too.
I'm just a bit wary of it because most household insurance companies
are pretty notorious for being odd about activities they don't
consider 'normal'.
