Thank you Rob. Seems the H4 is very hissy in comparison. I know you-gets-what-you-pay-for but the MD comes out very well for my ears= . Just ordered a matched pair of NT1A's, an NH-700MD, an R09, and a Marantz P= MD660 all for student location work.
