M-Audio has released firmware version 1.4.5. Find it here: http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support.drivers Select the button for "firmware updates," then select "USB audio series" and "Microtrack 2496," and finally choose the file appropriate for your computer's operating system. PC and Mac versions are available. The Microtrack 2496 firmware fixes bugs, increases speed of transfer from recorder to computer, and streamlines the loop playback feature. The readme file accompanying the firmware describes all the changes. Microtrack 2496 uses CF (Compactflash) memory cards, which are available in sizes up to 16GB today. |
