Hi Guys, Does anyone know of any portable two channel microphone pre amps that also have an optical output to hook up to MD? Ive been searching for a very long time and havent really found anything all that practical (e.g. Core Sound mic2496)? I had considered getting an Edirol UA-25 USB pre amp, as it has an optical output and just powering it off my own USB power supply, does anyone know if the UA-25 requires the computer specifically to output to TOSLINK or will it pass the digital signal straight to the S/PDIF output from the A/D on the mic input? |
