Hi,

Take a look at the Wildlife Sound Recording Society's web page:
http://www.wildlife-sound.org/. We are a UK-based society with members from
outside the UK as well as within.

The web site contains a wealth of information. The Field Meeting, which are
generally held twice a year, are worth attending. Here you can get to try
out a wide variety of equipment owned by the members and get lots of useful
hints and tips.

Regards,

Chris

Subject: [Nature Recordists] Starting Up

I am recently retired and have taken up bird watching as a hobby. I
now want to improve things by recording what I see and hear. I have
the necessary photographic equipment.

Where do I start for recoring the bird sounds. I live in North Wales.

Will be grateful for any advice.

Regards
