I have been investigating the equipment I may need however have found
some of the technical issues bewildering. I would really appreciate
it if you could offer advice and recommendations.

I am a psychologist who utilizes neurofeedback and hypnosis. I would
like to be able to record nature sounds for therapeutic purposes.
These sounds would be mixed with hypnotherapy scripts or used as a
feedback medium with the neurofeedback.

It is reasonable important that I have clean recordings with a minimum
of background noise however this does not need to be pristine. I have
seen the discussion about the Zoom H4 and perhaps this will do the
Job. Is their any other recommendations including ext microphones to
use with a unit such as this.

On the computer that will be processing the sound card I have is a
Creative XFI Elite Pro and I have Adobe Audition software.
Thank You
John Thompson
