Do you mean "EM158?" :-)!! Thanks to Gene Dorcas (tip on this list
9/2005) we've been using these caps with HiMD in my field audio class
this Fall. We should have a number of comparison tests to share by
the end of the semester.

I concur. Eric has some tests that he may be readying for release.
The EM158's seem to be on par with or perhaps a little better
noise-wise than the Shure WL-183's; a tad less sensitive. The 158's
are only ~6mm in diameter-- considerably smaller, less massive and
even easier to mount than 183's.
I believe Gene has them for sale in several configurations on his
site. I'll wait for Gene to confirm this before I drop his link.
Eric Benjamin plans to test the EM158's powering needs more
carefully. Rob D.
