The mic elements are usually tackled separately (such as you would for
a MKH30/40 combo) - what is puzzling is that this is shockingly low
compared to almost anything else. For all the others sensitivity ranges
between 10-50 mV/Pa, and the VP88 rolls in at a twentieth of the lowest
of the others - I'd expect that to give real problems in using it. It's
so odd it has to be a mistake somewhere.
