Hi all, In August, working on a radio documentary in Western Newfoundland, I recorded some ambient sound. This included the sound of some birds, and I am would like to know what a couple of them are. The recordings were done at 48kHz, 24 bit depth. I just tried to upload a 10 second segment, converted to MP3, to this site, but am told that the file is too large. In fact, I have tried it three times, shortening it each time. The last time I tried, it was 10 seconds long, entirely because that is how long it took the bird, a woodpecker, between drumming. If he was a quicker drummer, the file would be shorter. Unfortunately, he wasn't thinking about the download limitations of the internet when he was doing his thing. Any advice on uploading this file greatly appreciated. Cheers. |
