Klas S. asked > which of these are stereo, and provide > plug in power in a minijack? Most of the pocketable preamps have XLR or mini-XLR inputs, and they provide 48V phantom power. Three preamp models have two channels, 3.5mm mini-jack input, and provide 9V Plug-In Power: Chris Church ST-9000 ($150) http://stores.ebay.ca/CHURCH-AUDIO Sound Professionals SP-Preamp ($180) http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-PREAMP Felmicamps Battery Preamp ($200) www.felmicamps.co.uk/products/felbattpreamp.html For nature recording, the Sound Professionals and Felmicamps models would be preferred because they offer a maximum preamp gain of 50 to 55 dB. The Chris Church preamp has a maximum gain of 40 dB. --oryoki |
