i should have the circuit diagram somewhere, but i do not think it had a po=
wering option (not even 12 volt t-power) it was designed for high and low i=
mpedance microphones and the six (or was it five)pin connector accommodated=
 this.

The Uher ran on 7.5 volts DC - five D cells, and did not have voltage step =
up or such circuits. (in fact the first such circuit i saw was in the Sony =
TCD5.

Who has a diagram (or know how it is connected) over the mic input of an
old Uher 4000???
I am almost certain that there is a pin with DC voltage, but I don't know
which one. And I wouldn't be surprised if there is a high level and a low
level input.
