Hi All, looks like I'm off to Tonga next year in may and want to do some recording while I'm there... Does anyone have experience with a km184 / ak20 (ms combo) in very high humidity ? From what I can find out it's about 80% humidity and around 28c /96f temperature wise. I own a neumann rsm191 stereo shotgun but know it won't handle the humidity so am looking at getting the km series combo, mainly because I like the "neumann sound" Yes i know a sennheiser mkh combo would be best in these conditions but really would rather use a neumann set. Any real world experience out there? Also, any tips on good spots to go and record at would be appreciated as I have a week or two to out and about.
