Subject: [Nature Recordists] Recording Trip

Well, it looks like I'm going to have the month of October free, and
decided I think I'll head out on the road and do some recording for
the better part of the month. I'm hoping to leave Northern California
on about the 1st, and meander through western states, Utah, Nevada,
Colorado, maybe back up through Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon.

I'm hoping to record at some exotic animal shelters, rescues, that
I've found in those areas (and a camel safari) since I need some new
animal vocals for a film. But also just to 'record' whatever I can
find, and so some nature recording.

If anyone has any good recommendations for places to record in those
states, or if anyone from the group wants to meet for a cup of coffee
and you live somewhere in those areas, let me know. Not sure my route
yet, but would be fun to maybe meet up, maybe do a bit of recording.
I should have a nice arsenal of toys with me too, so if you've wanted
to check out any mics that I have, could be fun.

Tim
