You're welcome. I've got about 12 hours of stuff...

I didn't mention two other technical mishaps. At Paliku I tripped 
over a cable and pulled one of the two MD recorders off the table. 
Fortunately it was fine, but the mic input Y-adaptor was bent. When I 
tried to bend it back it shorted to mono. I left it bent and it 
worked fine the rest of the trip.

When I started up recording in the middle of the night at Holua, the 
MD gave me a message "system error" that I've never seen before. Then 
it booted up normally. After I started rolling I noticed that the MD 
was in its default make-a-track-every-few-minutes mode. That can be 
reset while recording. What I didn't discover till I checked my level 
on my way up the hill the next day was that the error had also re-set 
the record level down from 15 where I wanted it to 10. That recording 
and the following dawn recordings were made 10dB low. I haven't had a 
chance to check whether I took a noise hit for that.
