Assuming they would keep the same caps and and use two in the same
housing, that would be interesting mod-- especially if Studio
Projects still sold them as a pair.   I've only used them a few
times, but the C-4 omni capsules seem to have inherent resonance
below 300Hz. Perhaps this  would be less noticeable configured for
fig 8.

Another inexpensive, passable fig 8 mic is the CAD-179 which was
going for under $150 on eBay last time I looked. We use them with
NT1-A's and the results are impressive for a <$400 M-S pair.  Rob D.
