It's time to reorganize my field kit(s) a bit, and am looking for cases to store it all in. At the moment I have a Pelican 1650, which is now about 1/3rd the size I need to hold everything. I'm wondering if people have found good alternatives to Pelican, for good hard cases. I have found Storm Cases, which look good too. But maybe there are others? How are people transporting their gear when they travel? I'd love to hear other ideas. My problem with the Pelican is that for the size, the 1650 already weighs 25+ pounds, and it so quickly goes over the weight limit when flying. I think I'll end up going with a few storm cases or smaller pelican cases, but looking for options. Thanks, Tim |
