Interesting. 10 or 12dBA self noise (depending on the source) with 18
mV/Pa sensitivity from large(!) diaphragm performance and
competitively priced with the mkh-800 at least.
In addition to humidity performance might be how it handles
reverberant field micing (Opposed to concert hall micing which Kavi
has built his rep on. Although, concert halls could reveal more of
its reverberant field performance than many other music applications.)
Adding the ELM-B to my "must keep an ear open for" list.

The V3 seems to have 60 dB of gain off the shelf. Maybe Kavi is a
