It sure is difficult to grasp the content of these Japanese language pages after machine translation. The page at http://www.birdcafe.net/syrinx-1/LISN-2.htm includes several brief recordings that try to illustrate the sound quality of the LISN parabola compared to the smaller Sony PBR-330 parabola. As a side benefit, the clips show off the quiet preamp section of the new Sony PCM-D1 recorder, compared to a DAT recorder. --oryoki |
