FR2 Nightmare

I just got my Fostex FR2. Very happy with it and initial tests have
been way above my expectations with a ME67/K6 (Telinga Pro6 arriving
this week so even better ! ) ......but

....I thought I had the power issue sorted with a couple of
Lithium "Power Runners" which would give 3.5 hours each. Fantastic
batts, light as a feather, charge in about two hours.

Only problem is I can't find a DC two pin adaptor plug that fits the
DC in on the FR2 and then connects to the supplied battery cable
with the two female ports. Have checked Maplins in UK and could only
find one in a universal pack to power a laptop from a car ciggie
socket. The two pins on it were way too fat for the holes on my
battery cable.

Does anyone have a part number for the DC plug for the Fostex FR2(
not the PSU for the mains, I have one . It is yellow rimmed, and has
a thin male connector inside the main plug.

If I can't get one I am screwed - can't even use a 5 amp Lead Batt
as this would need the same plug !!!

It must exist so thanks for any advice,

Lindsay
