Hi David--
You might be able to use the deck as second unit
with metal tape. I couldn't find very detailed
spec sheets on line. It has manual record gain
right?
The most pronounced problem doesn't seem to be
stemming as much from excessive hiss as a lower
mid range imbalance and transient dostortion. Is
this recording equalized or gain boosted before
encoding to mp3? Feel free to email me a short
