Hi Marty, Great anecdotes! I too can offer praise for the CDs: just days prior to = receiving the set I had heard a puzzling owl squawk on my way through woods= in the pre-dawn darkness to a breeding bird survey starting point. I disc= ounted screech and great horned, concluding it might be fledgling barred, b= ut the CD nailed it as female Great Horned Owl squawk. Am leaving momentarily for EWR to fly to RNO to teach the Lab of O's Soun= d Recording Workshop. My 20th year. Always fun; always instructive to me = too. Good recording, Randy ----- Randolph S.
