Very nice work and likely effective as well. Your
NT-4 body looks a little different than mine. I
assume you put the Nt-4 inside of the inner tube
so you could slip it out to replace the battery
and turn it on. I can't tell how close the end of
the inner tube is to the mic capsules. You might
consider doing a high-gain test at a quiet time
with the mic inside your shock mount and then in
the open to make sure the tube is not tuning some
of waves reaching the capsules. Thanks for
