This sort of fits in this thread.. Follow the link to a recording I made by placing two beyerdynamic pzm mics back to back inside a rycote assembly. It sounds great through speakers but I prefer to listen on headphones as it is "almost" binaural in nature. I can't remember the model number of the mics but they are electret with a power supply that was powered with 48ph power, physically the mics are mounted on a disk with a radius of 3-4 inches. Plus I also did a +3db shelving boost to give it a bit more bass and bring out the low frequencies of the bull roaring. http://www.ourmedia.org/node/217942 Grant. |
