Bravo and ditto, Martyn! Any action we can take
to preserve these natural soundscapes, thus the
habitats from which they evolve, is critical.
None moreso than the Arctic National Wildlife
Refuge. For those interested in knowing more
about this project, here's the URL
http://www.wildsanctuary.com/ArcticExpedition.html

And for those from the group who have so far
generously helped support this effort, we are all
enormously grateful. You're in the line-up with
Harvard, Stanford, University of Utah, LucasFilm,
Johnson Outdoor Industries, Google, SanDisk,
Patagonia, Animal Welfare Institute, Eureka
(tents & sleeping bags), Buzz-Off, Sundance,
ExOfficio, the Audubon Society, and so many other
individuals and groups, it makes one's head spin
to know that the level of our concern is shared
by so many others. Speaking of community
support... WOW!
