I'm not an expert but my guess for the short answer to your question is
"No." You probably can't filter out
the wind noise without making the entire recording sound wierd.
Energy from wind sounds is distributed across a wind range of
frequencies, and attenuating at lots of frequencies makes things sound
not so good.
Two other annoying (to me) noises that can't really be filerered are
autos and airplanes.
All you can do is work to avoid these disturbances or recognize that
they'll occur and plan your recording to accomodate them.
