unseasonal birds

Global warming?  Mild winter?  I've noticed various birds
here in central Illinois that I (nieve) wouldn't expect to see
until March or April.  Last sunday the local city park trees were
full of male robins.  And I've seen a redheaded woodpecker
in the last few days.

On today's dogwalk I was lucky to have my camera with when I
noticed crows worrying something.  Usually it's one of
our community of Cooper's hawks, but this morning it turned
out to be a turkey vulture.  I was able to get pretty close
while shooting video (with 16bit/22kHz sound), and my Canon
S1-IS has a 10x lens and image stabilizer.  Even so I was
shooting while walking, so I post-processed a bit of the
video with a program called iStabilize.  It's at:

but it doesn't have streaming hints and uses H.264 codec.
