Western Bluebirds revisited

Subject: Western Bluebirds revisited

I received a call from a friend saying that he could hear a White-crowned
Sparrow faintly chirping in the background of the Western Bluebird recording I
posted on 1/26.

Taking a closer listen, and then looking at the spectra, I could hear and see
what he was referring to.

Here is a picture of the spectra of the one of calls from the original
recording and one of a known White-crown.

And here is a wav file of the calls in the spectra. Note that the call from
original recording has been tremendously amplified, which speaks well for the
low noise level of the Telinga stereo mic and the Sony MZ-R50 minidisc recorder.

And finally the original Bluebird recording.

I hope you find this a as interesting as I did.
