Ramsay, I would like to comment that what Steve says is very good advice. I have been recording for years with a Telinga mic and a Sony MZ-R50 recorder and am pleased with the results. Several of my recordings have been used by Cornell for use on their commercial bird song cd's. This doesn't mean their perfect, but of high enough quality for Cornell, who sell thousands of bird song cd's. Jim |
