I had no idea Sony updated the software!! Maybe a little too late?
I like the HiHD facility; I don't like having to use Sony's own software to
transfer files (you are going to tell me you don't have to?)
But I think it's the way to go rather than this awful MicroTrack.
You even have to use the + 27DB option boost to be heard!!
I'm not impressed at all :(
Thanks John for the battery option but I feel there are too many flaws with
this machine for nature recording. For concerts etc, I see it being a useful
tool but not in this forum......
