All, With recent discussion about the new CF recorders that can record at 48 kHz/16 bit, 96 kHz/24 bit etc., can someone please clarify the following: If the recording is going to be downsized to CD quality 44 kHz/16 bit, is there an advantage in field recording at the higher kHz and bit rates? Can you hear any difference on a CD, of recordings made originally at different kHz/bit rates?
