We have discussed on this group how to build a connector that will allow one to connect the Sony RH10 to Shure 183 mics. The sony has a 3.5mm female plug and a 183 has a TA4F plug. I would love to hear comment on this idea for connecting the two mics to the player: connect to each 183 a Shure WA310 adaptor cable for going from TA4F to female XLR then use a Hosa CYX402 Y-Cable, Stereo 3.5mm to Two XLR Males. Advantage: no soldering and solid connections. Disadvantage: bluky and long wires with two connections. Comments on the workability of this solution? thanks, ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
