Subject: [Nature Recordists] Dumb 744 question
OK dumb question of the day.
With sound devices 744T there are only 2 pre-amps although this is a 4
channel recorder.
So one has to buy an additional pre-amp if you are to record with 4 mics. I
have Sound devices Mixpre that has 2XLR in and 2 XLR out.
All I see on the 744T from Pictures (mine hasn't arrived yet) is 2 XLR
connectors.
If I wanted to use 4 say MKH-20 mics, how would I do it?
Someone will fire the answer straight back at me I can feel it in my bones
