Rich brings up a good point about condensation. It is so easy to bring cold equipment into a warm humid house without thinking about the condensation that will form an all parts of the equipment that the warm moist air can reach. I normally place any equipment in air tight bags before bringing them inside. Once they reach room temperature they can be safely removed.
