Sounds like a sapsucker, the knocking gives it away, first thought would be
a red-breasted sapsucker, are they down there Jim?
I love the Telinga and of all the mics I own, If I had to replace all the
Telinga would be first.....

Nice recording Jim...

Subject: [Nature Recordists] New Telinga recording

I have added a new test file from my new Telinga stereo dat mic at,

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/naturerecordists/files/WP_Nuthatch.mp3

of some woodpecker pecking and a White-breasted Nuthatch along with distant
airplanes and road noise.

Recorded on Sony MZ-R50 minidisk recorder and downloaded using analog out o=
n
a Sony MDS-JB920 deck to a Turtle Beach Santa Cruse sound card using Cool
Edit 2000.

As I mentioned before I really like the life like presence this mic
provides.

Best regards,

Jim
