My fellow Nature recordists.
I ask you all from the heart; those of you who live in the USA have the
chance to phone your local congressman and ask them to vote AGAINST
tomorrows up coming budget reconciliation bill that includes drilling in the
arctic national wildlife refuge.
Please all take the time to phone; it will take you a couple of minutes but
the refuge is the last truly wild place left in America.
I was there in June and it's so pristine, it will be a tragedy if it is
allowed to be opened for oil.
The oil reserve in the refuge will last about 6 months but take 12 years to
extract.
Millions of birds, animals use the refuge and of course the only migrating
mammal in the States, Americas own Serengeti.
If you don't like what I write, delete this message and be done with it but
if you care, call the people who will decide.
This is truly the last chance..
