There was no sign of Giant River Otter. Someone played a tape, and within a few moments several very large and agitated Giant River Otters approached the boat, vocalizing and baring their teeth, to challenge the otter they heard. They swam around the boat, searching, for a few heart- stopping moments. When no otter could be found, they vanished again. I can only imagine the effect of an angry two meter-long otter trying to climb into our boat! --oryoki ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
