>I got my Microtrack 24/96 today and reading the manual up and down and >pressing all buttons I find no option to monitor the input at "stand-by"?? >One has to make a recording in order to hear....? I just got mine and observe the same thing (firmware 1.1.5). A recorder designed by someone who's never used a recorder... Other gripes (with only cursory examination so far): jumpy record level setting (seems to jump two steps sometimes with one click), balky volume level setting (holding down doesn't run through whole range), can't change gain L/M/H while recording, no numbers on meters. All fixable in a software revision. -Dan Dugan ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
