I wonder if you North American shorebird experts could help me with some IDs. I have posted five files, Yellowlegs1 to Yellowlegs5, in the naturerecordists Member Files folder. All five were recorded here in Brazil. The recordists (which include myself) identified Yellowlegs1 and 2,= visually, as Greater Yellowlegs and 3-5 as Lesser. However they all sound rather alike to me and I wonder whether we confused these two similar species. Can anyone confirm or correct these IDs?
