I wonder if there's a pattern we can uncover. The lot of 12 mics we
received in August 2004 (e.g. Serial #'s 21283) deal exceptionally
well with moisture. Two units I personally bought from 2002 to 2003
(e.g'. #7734 and #6784) had the problem you describe after several
hours in high humidity. (One can test for this noise under high
humidity and send the mic back for a replacement.) Rob D.
