$535/pair on eBay.

I have a pair of the MBHO 603 mics which Nick says they are
comparable to (mine are omni). The CEMC'6's 10mV/Pa sensitivity is
at the lower end for ambience recording. I believe the MBHO's have
more output than this. The lit says the CEMC6 needs 44 to 52 volts
phantom. If Nick's comparison is accurate, I like the MBHO's, though
they are not my favorite mics for very quiet settings. More noise
than ideal. You never know about performance in high humidity with
any non-mkh condenser outside of doing field tests. The mic Eric
Benjamin has been testing, the AT3032 is a considerably less and also
sounds similar to the MBHO in my first side by side field uses. He's
measured it at 8dB(A) self noise-- considerably less than either the
MBHO or the Peluso and hotter too, 19mV/Pa. Its hard to apply a
review for a music application to cranking at full pre gain before a
broad spectrum, but the price keeps me interested. Rob D.
