The Schoeps 41+8 would be good as a compromise for dialog... it sounds grea=
t but a
more natural space representantion should be done with a 4+8; using an hype=
rcardioid
can yield a "too cornery" image because of excesive directionality...
Anyhow, worth to test the Schoeps MS rig in three flavors:
4+8
41+8
2+8 (yep, omnis can be used for MS with great results. Nature recording cou=
ld be one of
it's applications...!)

are omni/cardioid switchable. A very good option for nature recording. Also=
, the omni will
stand far more wind.
