I don=92t have a 660 Rob but I'm thinking of getting one, The test was done
with a PMD-670 with the Telinga DAT plugged into the right hand channel of
the PMD-670 and the left into the 722. I got rid of the pmd-670. The M100 I
have not the M10, was tested in the same place but with the mic that came
with it...
On another note, did you know that you can upload ordinary Minidisks with
the software that comes with the M100? Well the good news is you can, I
tried it obviously with the HiMD disk and that is no problem, then I
recorded on a normal Minidisk with a different recorder and uploaded the
file with the software.
Downside to this? It transfers in mono!!!! Oh, well beggars can't be
choosers!

Hi Martyn--
Did you get your pmd 660 modified? I listened to your comparison with
the 660 and 722. An "after mod" recording in the same
place/gain/mics would be very instructive to hear with your "before
mod." Recall what mics you used for the first test? Was your new
M10 test in the same place? Seems like it is. Thanks for making the
tests! Rob D.
