size the R-1's software will support.
Digitizing at the R-1's rate of 24/44.1,
a 2GB file will capture about two hours
and 12 minutes' worth of two channel material.=20
At this point, the R-1 will save the file and
stop. If you have a Compactflash card larger
than 2GB in the R-1, you can start recording
a second 2GB file.=20
Keep in mind that the R1 uses 2 AA batteries
for power. Standard alkaline batteries record
between 2.5 and 3 hours. NiMH rechargeables
last longer, based on their capacity.
