Yep, that's it, I took the reading with my GPS, It was well off the road
called the "Lost Mine Trail" it was about a 6 hour hike, extremely warm
conditions too.

Martyn,
I did  a search using my Streets and Trips software from Microsoft and
find the coordinates listed to be in Big Bend Nat. Park and about 3/4
of the way along the road to an area they call The Basin.  Chisos
Mountain Lodge is on the other fork of the road.  It looks as thought
the exact spot is off the road a bit.

How accurate is the coordinate location feature of this map?
