In the noise department, the 183 at 22 or 23dBA is "very good for the
price" but certainly not as good as much more expensive mics. The
self-noise is fine for any relatively "busy" environment, and only
intrudes in really quiet places.
So far as humidity goes, all I can say is no failures yet; I've
recorded in the rain, and left them out all night, too.

I see, Primo makes the capsule, I wondered what you meant by that.

I think Shure is made in U.S.A., though nowadays that's always a
question: it may only mean final assembly.
