I Can't comment on the USBPre, just will mention that the Digidesign
Mbox is lowered in price recently - if you would consider its preamps
high enough quality (very debatable) at least the cost is lower now.
$295 to 350 currently. It seems they will be replacing it in September.
Please no flames, I just mentioned it as it does 24 bit on bus power...
