Do you feel that the R4's internal mic preamp is
not performing up to your needs somehow?  Can you
describe the problem(s)?  Can you tell us a
little more about the type of nature recordings
your interested in making?  Would you use 2 mics
for stereo, 4 mics for surround or maybe both?
What brand(s) and model(s) of mics, if any, do
you already own or plan to purchase?   Rob D.
