Hi all,
as promised few weeks ago I tested the Edirol FA66 to verify its
ability to get a wide frequency range at 192 kHz sampling. Unfortunately at
that high sample rate its performances are as bad as the Edirol F101 I
tested some months ago: response falling above 40 kHz, high hiss above 40
kHz, poor anti-aliasing.
On the contrary, very good performances at 48 kHz and 96 kHz.
The final word is that it is not the right choice for recording at 192 kHz.

Any hint for another portable unit running at 192 kHz ?

Gianni
