For those who have entered the morass of the digital age, a new book was just published by O'Reilly Media Inc (http://www.oreilly.com) in Sebastopol, California titled DIGITAL AUDIO ESSENTIALS written by Bruce and Marty Fries. It is a comprehensive guide to creating, recording, editing and sharing music and other audio and covers a wide range of topics. While mostly it relates to music, if you consider natural sound proto-music and think along those lines, the text will resonate for those doing everything from archiving to production. Check it out.
