Hello Group, This inquisitive newcomer is exploring the possibilities of configuring an economical parabolic microphone from a bird feeder squirrel guard. What is the "focal point" that I have heard referenced here, how critical is it in positioning a microphone inside of a parabolic, and how is it measured in relation to the depth and diameter of the parabola? Thank you for your kind considerations. Have to ask simple questions if one wants to learn about something, so I am asking the best teachers. Regards, John ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
