Hello Group,

This inquisitive newcomer is exploring the possibilities of
configuring an economical parabolic microphone from a bird feeder
squirrel guard. What is the "focal point" that I have heard referenced
here, how critical is it in positioning a microphone inside of a
parabolic, and how is it measured in relation to the depth and
diameter of the parabola?
